So very thankful . . . my heart is glad . . . a beautiful Thanksgiving Day! As I set the table my heart gratefully remembers the legacy of love and tradition represented in special tablecloths, sparkling crystal, and my dear Grandma’s china. I cherish this feeling of complete contentment . . . treasuring these moments in the kitchen with my mom and daughter, still finding fresh sage in my garden and displaying it on a treasured plate of Aunt DeeDee’s . . . this is good . . . this is very good. Sitting at the table with my dear Kevon, Mom, and Jenni . . . praying, talking, and laughing . . . love, love, love!!! I have so much to be thankful for . . . all I have is all I need . . . thank you God for all You have blessed me with.
Jenni is moving over Thanksgiving weekend to this sweet home in Bayfield! Beautiful view and amazing wood floors!!! We headed to Duluth on Tuesday to find a “girly” couch! Had the best day shopping, eating, and laughing! So happy and excited for my girl . . . she deserves this wonderful place to call her Home Sweet Home!!!
Yesterday was another amazing 60 degree day!!! There was work to be done before the gale winds of November hit . . . which started last night! Kevon and I headed out to watch Sherm dive at the marina. He has been in charge of maintaining the dock bubblers for many years. There is never a dull moment living in this town . . . love, love, love . . .
A beautiful 60 degree day at the beach . . . in November! It is another blessed time to be a Wisconsin resident. I enjoyed walking in the soft sand on the beach and breathing in the freshest air as I gazed out at the clear blue blue blue Lake Superior. I was grateful to observe two amazing eagles. Yes, being thankful is what November is all about . . . celebrating the holiday of Thanksgiving in a few weeks . . . how could this beautiful month be about anything else?
Last night I spent some precious time with my dear Angel Friend . . . always the best! I am so grateful to God for blessing me with this friendship. This journey called life goes through many ups and downs, but this dear friend always makes me smile. It is like God showers me with fun and I forget about all my worries. I absolutely love the photo at Sunset Valley Orchard (OMG Debi – I need to grow my hair out!) . . . those memories that make me smile no matter what is going on in my life right now. “I didn’t find my friends; the good Lord gave them to me” . . .
